Hurst published footage of the shocking accident on Facebook, showing two men sitting inside the bungee-style contraption that launches patrons more than 160 feet into the air. The moment was captured in cellphone footage posted online by Tallahassee woman Krissy Hurst, who was vacationing with a friend in Panama City Beach at the time of the incident, which took place last Saturday at the "Vertical Accelerator" ride in Cobra Adventure Park. A Florida woman has said she "dodged death" by avoiding a slingshot ride at a beachside amusement park that suffered a cable shred seconds before launch.
